Conservation

Why is conservationimportant?

The marine environment is vital to our well-being and every element should be protected. As humans, it is important that we play our part to ensure that marine ecosystems are protected by combining our modern ways of living with a deeper respect and understanding of what nature provides and the inherent value it holds. To improve our quality of life and the animals in which we share, there is much to do when it comes rebuilding and protecting both natural resources and biodiversity within marine ecosystems. Conservation of the marine environment is crucial if we want a healthy marine ecosystem. We are as much a part of the environment, but we have made the most impact by devastating so many aspects of the Salish Sea. Conservation will work to right these wrongs.
